alot of us had stem jobs. just boring jobs stemming it up with other stem nerds. and thats all we were. nerds. then someone in the us changed a few things.

we were not ambitious. most women r not “ambitious” most women are — “can i leave and do something fun now?”. we often dont want to be in management. our life is managing ppl we dont want to manage to begin with.

but she lost and it was a bullet in our chest. i wanna say a stake in our back but it wasnt. and u do not know what that did to women everywhere. we all doubted our credentials. if shes not qualified, then how can we possibly be qualified. so we got imposter syndrome as a gender. but we did march for her.

so we ate it. moved on. then someone decided it was a good time trend wise to set off #meToo. and women got fired everywhere. for joining the moment in solidarity. and we got visible.

“listen man- this DEI bullshit is letting us get some grants, u got one?”

so we were passed around like DEI pets.

and the reason the boys are proud now is that he was extremely professional and loved. so when they went into places in law enforcement they all had an easy answer.

“listen man- i work with black men they r good, but fuck me if we have not DEI pinked out this joint. in my day it was different, ya where do i sign?”

there are two conditions here that were satisfied

white supremacy

male supremacy

one has more global appeal than the other. whose problem is this to solve?
