that is a very short sighted view. ur in the US not in iran- ur democratic institutions are usually boring and quiet because they are working. when you hear about trump talking smack about the justice department that is an indicator that the justice department is being activated against someone.

ideologically you are correct. that is their political leaning. but the question then is what does the legislative branch of government do.

im in canada and we are going through alot of similar things. im not on the political side. people think that someone like trump can effect the real rights of individuals. the reality is that all he is achieving is a quality test on the other branches of government. he is revealing where the fault lines are.

this kind of stress test is vital in governments. it serves to creates back ends that cant be altered again.

in contend that a trump presidency would lead to a political disaster for the US for 4 years. and since he can never run again, it will reveal all the laws that need to be constitutionally amended.

he would be the predicating force for an overhaul in the US government that is long overdue. once he leaves, u will have seen the most dogmatic the US can get, and subsequently ur legislative branches would step in. effectively the political arm and the bureaucratic boring process arm would be at war with itself and industry would take over.
