Jallianwala Bagh: The British Bullets that gave birth to Khalistan

April 13, 1919- a day that reverberates in my blood.
I am about to begin writing the analysis and paper for some extremely depressing research i did. research i never wanted to do. but sometimes we are faced with the question of acknowledging our gifts- our privileges as our responsibilities to the greater civilizational math. It was, and remains my assessment that i was the best person to do the research. because i was the target. i need an anchor today- to make it worthwhile. my loss of faith in the human spirit is — in a way complete. so i anchor myself to the death of the innocent lives taken at Jallianwala Bagh by British solders of enslaved india. And then stolen by Khalistani nationalists who took matters into their own hands and destroyed many futures in their wake. May the blood of the babies who were martyred by their mothers in the well in Amritsar be worth more than the gold and bullets of Golden Temple blocks away. both pilgrimages i make when i am there.
In 1919 the struggle for Indians independence was dominated by a few key individuals. One of them being Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. One of the most racist men ignored by history. Ghandi had no issues with racism. He belived black people in South Africa deserved to be below brown people. It is confusing to understand why Nelson Mendella was inspired by him.
