Google, Deepmind and bullshit

I dont usually get involved talking tech in broVille but i happend to be the AI BD lead for the City of Edmonton. So i know these idiots and the scam that passes for machine learning algos these days.

What i find fascinating about google, most broTech in general is the gall they have dismissing all advanced learning, and then acting like they can create learning algorithms.

the bubble we are seeing form in AI is not what you think. the actual opportunity in AI is about to balloon- its about hit trillions of dollars. but the money is in automating value added processes in places like manufacturing and actual hardware- software interfaces.

effectively on the heels of China revving its manufacturing engine we are going to see the emergence of decentralized manufacturing in north America. those industries will lead the path for AI evolution.

so why are most learning models absolute bull shit?

AI is knocking at the door of deeptech. and there is no room for broTech in deeptech. they dont have the education or the communication skills to operate in the highly academic and very very learning forward environment.

the process of learning is individual. and each subject, each skill has activates a different learning pathway. where AI algorithms relay on the normal probability curve to indicate that most learning is taking place using simple stats. real learning happens in the 3rd standard deviation…
