Freedom 50- women's security is not a suggestion
I honestly never wanted to be an entrepreneur. Ive been in a lot of startups, worked with alot and this is not a great job. i mostly enjoy alot of hobbies. my goals in life were to get a good paying job and then retire as soon as i had a few million. that was a realistic thing for me if i was a white guy.
it is true that women do not experience the same reward for the same skills in the workplace based on their gender alone. therefore it is extremely important that we forgo the idea of “doing what we want in our dreams” and become practical.
everything from personal relationships, families, having children and our own financial security is going to have to be rethought. the social contract does not apply to us.
for this reason i truly believe that women should no longer be going to university.
there is no reward in this and they become the targets of predatory individual who want to virtue signal their DEI credibility or other predatory individuals who want to DEI them out. stop putting women in the line of fire. women are human beings and deserve respect.
the best alternative for women to earn a respectful paycheck is in the trades:
getting into the trades was what i had hoped to do. back then we thought that doing a university degree would lead to higher economic mobility. after experiencing and fighting for my career in 6 industries across canada i can say for certain that a university education has limited to no roi for women. in addition if you are smart and competitive, then men will use any trick to get you removed from consideration for promotions and jobs.
start thinking about your lives more creatively.
the rise in domestic violence, the increases in divorce rates the decrease in the birth rate for some demographics all paint a very troubling picture. a picture that is encapsulated best by recognizing that there is a movement that does not even want exceptions for abortion in cases of rape and incest.
reflect on that for a moment. as a woman. then consider what kind of partners and people you want in your life. if you want kids, then consider how and make allowances for the realities you find yourself in. hope and love are wonderful ideas, however pragmatic planning will have your back in the moments when you find yourself having to make peace with some very harsh realities.
living in a rom com and watching a rom com are two very different things.
it is my objective that before the age of 50 i have about 50 mil to retire. that is a safe sum of money for any woman to aspire to. in addition, i very much like the ford idea for the model t. ford paid his employees enough to be able to afford one. so it is my hope that every employee that i am blessed to have in my company has their own freedom 50 plan. and i hope to facilitate as many as possible.
amassing money is not the same as living a rewarding life. you can be comfortable in many ways. what you love to do is not the same thing and what you accumulate in wealth these days. i think it should be.
so who do you want to be everyday of your life? and how much money do you need as fast as possible to make sure you never work a day in your life? now become an entrepreneur and go make that.
with the musketeers focused on dismantling government we can be sure of only two things:
- Since the government never helped women to begin with, we will be largely unaffected by this destruction. business as usual for us.
- Since the techBros are “building fast and breaking things” in government, tech and startups must be safe.
make a run for it.
