feministFront: A definition of feminism

there have been several academic evolutions for the definition and culture of the feminist theories. I am not an expert in gender studies. therefore i will not go through the evolution. this definition is mine. it has been formulated based on not only my personality but also my scientific philosophy and in congruence with the nature of many of us who are not dogmatic.

what is strength that has to be shown? why must a crown be worn? ur tik tok and clicking clock and right and left swipe have removed the shine of my home.

i dont care about that kind of equality. when did opening doors become an affront to civility. so you decided to shut them in our face. we can open doors, that was not the point. there was a certain manner in the conversations that were had. a certain professionalism, a recognition of time and place.

there is a reality to physiology that must be respected not diminished. it must be freed not controlled.

I love GI Jane. If you are that badass bitch and u can make it through a defined training regime to do that job, then u should not be penalized for being a woman. u should be elevated for showing us it can be done.

but why should you lose Gilbert Blythe along the way?

I find it interesting how men and women define feminism. men define it as an affront to who they are, women define it as a form of revenge. i just dont want to wear lipstick at work and i dont want to be accosted when i do walking down a street.

if the path for feminism, for the equality of all women to access that which they have earned has not reached its humane end then so be it. we remain women out of time. we will dream of our work in star trek and our lives in Jane Austen.

as long as femininity is subordinate to masculinity, as long as masculinity is the definition of the power that makes a man a man because he can control women, i will be a feminist. once you stop hating me for being a woman ill stop acting like one.
