Dominic LeBlanc is wrong, canadians should NOT trust the RCMP
this is getting ridiculous.
this is a first hand account of my experiences trying to shed some light on the exact issues about political interference last year.
last year i was concluding politization research at the University of Alberta. my research was focused on how AI was being used on social media, especially twitter to nudge political opinion in a dangerous and polarizing direction. there was a directed action from the valley to divide canadians.
on july 19, 2023 i was on twitter when i detected what i classified as a terrorist attack against the lgbtq+ community. i clssified it as a terrorist attack based on the pathology that looked exactly like the call to action in rawanda. however ths was done on twitter. in addition it was clearly designed to terrorize people and incite violence.
ive worked at the GOC before. i called a friend immediately and asked if they knew someone at CSIS. they said they would call me back. i continued to track the attack and analyze the technical analytics to understand how the attack would grow. my friend told me to submit the report to the RCMP.
i assumed they were launching an action and that my technical report was not needed at the time. so i submitted the report to the RCMP. they came to my house and sent 2 hrs understanding the analytics. following the explanation they informed me they had no jurisdiction and asked me what i thought they should do.
