i dont know if ppl are stupid, they have shit memories or covid made white ppl morons, all the above r possible.

but the bullshit in alberta about creating an “us” and “them” narrative around oil and gas is being engineered. by both the oil and gas ELITES and the political ELITES.

there are no sound economics to support any of these claims. in addition, i am oil and gas connected- more than almost anyone in cleantech. coz all my friends r in this sector.

the evolution of this sector speaks volumes to the state of society today. the sector is in a contraction- cannibalization cycle. a similar cycle was noted very recently in the photograph industry. there was always a premium among hobbyists to prefer old school film. but that group remains niche- its almost the reverse of what jobbs did with apple. he used brand appeal to create a premium experience that only a few could afford making everyone want it.

it is just a shit product technically- its operating system is boring and it trains ur brain to be a unix node. but whatever jobbs was smart.
